weekend with cousins

it is october (or almost was, sorry for the lateness) which means deer hunting time. so dad decided to drive south with the family. we stayed in a motel for the night as a family before we all split up and he went on to hunt and the kids and i headed for the cousins six hours away.
this was the kids in the pool the night before we all went on our adventures.
while we were at kalie and brads, we did all sorts of fun stuff. the first day we were there the kids made pumpkin rice crispie treats. yum.

there was alot of playing in the backyard. the kids swung on the swings, jumped on the tramp, and tortured the poor kitty.

while kalie, shay, and i went garage saleing, uncle brad set the kids up on the zip line. i found the steal of the day, a children's violin for $20. yah!

can you believe these babies are just six days apart? guess which one has the six foot tall dad. its definately not my lily. who knows where she got her height.this was certainly eventful. we launched cantalopes into brad and kalies field. it was quite amusing to watch.

the night before we left, kalie got some suncatchers for the kids to paint. they had such a blast. thanks kalie and brad for being so hospitable. oh yeah, and jared managed to bring home a four point monster. he says he got pictures so hopefully i will be able to post some of them for yall to see in the future.
