so braylie decided to join the school choir. jared and i are so proud of her since both of us are not the singing type. she went to school two times a week at 7:30 in the morning. she worked really hard and tried out for a part to sing a solo. she tried out for a song called "bring him home" and she a three other girls were chosen to sing this song. we went for their concert on monday night. they did an amazing job. braylie really loved doing this and i am so proud of her for doing this on her own and without any of her best friends joining her.
both sets of my grandparents came to see her sing. it was so nice to have them there. they really are a great support to us. i am so thankful that my children have a relationship with their great-grandparents.
my kids love their grandma connie. the girls and i have had the priviledge of going to visit her every week. they love this time and addy actually gets really upset if i go while she is in school because she loves her so much.
braylie also told about some of our family traditions. my favorites were building a christmas village out of legos (one we started this year), our advent tree and christmas books, and our very special christmas breakfast that is a tradition that has come from my own family.
braylie is pretty much a whole head smaller than most of the kids her age. two of the girls are in the same grade as her and the one to the right of her is actually in one grade lower than her. my kids are destined to be small.
