happy 6th birthday, addy

addy turned 6 last friday.

we told her she could have a birthday party with her friends.  when we first made the list we had about 17 girls on it.  we really had to dwindle the list down because her mom can not handle that much screaming and giggles.  it was the best birthday party we have ever done.  we had a "late night" birthday party.  we ate pizza, watched a barbie fashion movie, opened presents, and had cupcakes.

 she invited kylie, cecily, and natalie (and elise who was too sick to come.  we really missed her.)

 we tried heavy, heavy hangover.  it didn't work out too well.  this picture was taken before the tears.

 the friends were all curious about what she got and even quite excited.

 we started the presents from youngest to oldest.  it was fun trying to figure out who came next.  we started with emery who is 3 and ended with mindy who is 7.

 she blew out the birthday cupcake candles which hardly fit on the cupcake.

 cousins kendell, addy, and kaylee.  these three had a sleepover afterward.  they managed to stay up until 11:30 and little kaylee was up at 6:00 the next morning.  (possibly 5:00 because lily woke up at 5 and was upset that i had moved her away from kaylee so i put her at the end of kaylee's bed.  this commotion woke kaylee and kendell who are both not used to lily.  i am hoping they all went back to sleep, but i am not sure kaylee did.)  jared was not happy when they were all up an hour later wanting to watch the barbie movie again.)

the whole cute gang again before we took them all home.  it was a very fun and loud night.  who knew eight screaming little girls could be so loud.  (kasen sure loved chasing them all around.)
