hair & baseball

i did the girls hair on saturday night for sunday morning church and i liked how they turned out so i thought i would take a picture.  i get all kinds of comments on their french braids but the reason why i french braid their hair is because it lasts several days.  this saturday night hairdo picture was taken on tuesday night:

i braided two inside french braids up 2/3 of the way up.  then i did three inside out french braids on the top to meet the two in the back.  i put them in pony tails then turned them into messy buns.

i think it kind of made them look like minnie mouse.  they were more work then i wanted every day because i had to fix their messy buns which were a pain in the butt.  but i think they looked cute.

on another note, kasen started baseball.  

he hasn't ever played before so it is a new learning experience.

i am somewhat struggling with this new sport.  it takes up a good portion of our tuesday, wednesday, and thursday nights.  

he is still trying to figure out if he likes it much.  he is struggling with the fact that play time has to be cut short for games or practice and that it is three nights in a row.
