a dusey of a day

on tuesday we spent the entire day with the dusey family. they moved away from us about five years ago and we miss them living by us so much. brittany, angela, and i became really great friends just after our first babies were born. they were all born within three months of each other and were all girls. then we all happened to have our boys within six months of each other. we have had great fun together over the years, but this was our little families first trip to their house since they moved. we did absolutely nothing all day but talk and it was truly wonderful. i am so thankful for these two friends who have been there for me through thick and thin. thank you for the really great day, britt. we love you and can't wait to visit again!!

lunchtime. wow what a feat, feeding 11 small children and 3 adults plus brittany's husband who had to eat cold mac n' cheese and old nuggets. (thanks for putting up with us, cody.)

angela, brittany, and baby jax. brittany has an amazing back patio that we pretty much spent the day on. she also has a really great neighborhood where the kids can just run and play.

these two are the best of friends (most of the time)

nerf dart, scooters, and popsicles were the hit of the day.

this one spent the day glued to her momma. until it got dark then she just wanted to be outside.

cooper is quite a funny child. he just trucked along with the older boys as if he was one of them. i was quite impressed with the boys and how they let him be part of the group. you can't help but love that red hair and all of his natural curl. what a cutie!!

this baby is absolutely precious!! he is one of those babies you could eat!! he is so cute and a really great baby.

we had so much fun together and i can't wait to do it again!! i love spending time with old friends, when you can spend the day talking and it is like you were never apart for a minute. angela and brittany truly are amazing friends. they just know me and can tell me how it is. they make me laugh and i can just be myself around them. it was fun talking polygamy and then visiting the village. angela did my glitter toes, then did brittany's. all in all it was such a fun day and i can't wait to do it again!!! thank you dusey family for hosting all of us at your house for the day. we love you all!!!!
