today is dr. seuss day at school. the kids told me last night that they HAVE to dress up as one of the dr. seuss characters for school today.
braylie was the thing 1. she has a friend going as thing 2. hopefully i can get a picture of the two of them after school together. her hair was a bright blue pom pom and we lucked out that grandma had the thing 1 shirt in her closet.
kasen is sam from green eggs and ham. he was completely great with this last night but this morning he decided he needed to be the cat in the hat. that is why he is looking so pissy. the other side of his sign says "sam i am" and his green eggs were sculpey dough and green magnets. his "ham" is a red piggy bank.
addy wanted to be the cat in the hat. we threw together a red felt bow tie and safety pinned a white oval to her black turtleneck. i totally forgot to draw whiskers on her face and give her a little black nose.

The look on Kasen's face is priceless. Awesome! They all look so cute. Who knew you could buy Thing 1 and Thing 2 T-shirts? That would have made my life easier!
