the funny things kids say

so my kids are actually funny but it is almost always unintentional.  

for example, kasen is alway saying that he was kicked, hit, or hurt "in the crutch" or someone damaged his "peanuts."  it makes me laugh every time it is said but i can't push myself to teach him the right words.  i think it reminds me that he is young and innocent.

i think lily was taught that she is a child of God the last time she attended nursery.  her teachers would be so proud.  she has been going around the house singing "i am a child of God" which i wish i could fully take credit for but i am NOT a singer.  the other day i was in her way in the hall and she promptly said to me, "um, excuse me, i am a child of God."  (picture a teenage tone with the rolling eyes inserted here).  it was hilarious.  so much so that i had to wake jared up from his beauty sleep to tell him what she just so happens to be so sure of.
