suge flabbitt

kasen came home from his friends house with a new prize.  he told me he found it in the "suge flabbitt."  when i asked what the "suge flabbitt" was he looked at me and rolled his eyes.  "you know, mom, it is that thing that stuff goes down and then ends up in the tunnel."  he tells me this as if i know exactly what he is talking about.  apparently, the "suge flabbitt" is the sewer.  so fun.

when he told me about the suge flabbitt i got my camera so i could capture this moment with a picture.

then i realized how filthy he was.

these pictures don't do it justice but he comes home like this every day.  there is mud all over his sweatshirt, legs, shoes, socks, and shorts.  please note that my children dress themselves, EVERYDAY.

even his face is filthy.  boy i love this kid.  he sure knows how to play and play hard.

then at dinner i looked over at him and realized to top it all off he had had a bloody nose and had not even cleaned it up.  is this what boys are like?  let's just note that he is starting to take a shower every single night from here on out!!
