end of a chapter

so it is another end of the school year for the kids and it has been so bittersweet for me. i think i was so stinking emotional on their last day of school. braylie has had the best teachers ever. i really wish mrs. gubler could just move along in school with her. she even called our house to ask if braylie gave her a certain gift and i just started crying to her on the phone. i know weird huh, but i have loved watching braylie really bloom this year and i really give alot of that credit to her teacher. she was the best ever and i appreciate her for teaching her academically, but she has really taught some life lessons to her class this year that braylie really needs to learn and will remember coming from one of her favorite teachers. she even told her class that if they are ever in a situation that they know is not right, they can always call her and she will come rescue them. you don't find teachers like that everyday. oh well it is over now and i need to move on before i start crying again.

i never got a first day of school picture for him so last day will have to do. i know it will always be a guilty mom thing of mine and i will always regret it. i am so sad that kasen is done with kindergarten. kindergarten is one of those really silly nuisances in life. you know where they go half a day, everyday. then on wednesdays, oh don't even get me started, sometimes it feels like a waste of time. but anyhow, kindergarten has never been a problem for me. they are still home with me half a day and i get more quality time with them. kasen and addy are truly great friends and play so well with each other, i will be sad that they won't have that next year. so the end of this year has been really hard on me and i have been a giant baby because of it.
but yeah this is my last time driving kindergarten carpool for two years. jaycee, maddy, and kasen have been so fun but so quiet at the same time. jaycee and maddy are so quiet in my car and kasen just doesn't talk much around these girls.
but there they go without even looking back. i think this is the only time kasen can actually hustle. usually he drags his feet wherever he goes. glad to know he wants to go to school.
this has been our little carpool for the last three years. we have had our ups and downs but managed to work through them. we are done for another year. yeah!!!
maddy, addy, kasen, braylie, korbin, and maggie.

Amity I cry just like you do!!!! School is bittersweet!! But I love the summer!!! You are such a wonderful Mommy!!! Your post bring back memories of tears and laughter. Love the post with your baby playing in the food and how your son wrote in marker on the door. I was laughing and crying for you at the same time. Have a wonderful summer!!!!!

don't feel guilty about not getting his first day of school picture. Hey I never got one of any of my kids on their last day. Well maybe when they graduate. :)
