remember junior high?

this is bethany. she is and has been our extra child for the last month or so. she came to stay with us because her family has moved across the country and she wanted to finish up the school year here. we have an extra bedroom and bathroom in our basement that no one uses so i offered our home to her mother and now she is with us. she has been completely enjoyable to have around. i know our house is a little crazy at times, but she seems to take things with a grain of salt. she has been a tremendous help to me by watching the kids here and there. it has been a great trade off and i will be really sad to see her go. my kids, jared, and i have really come to love her as part of our family. she borrowed my camera for the last week of school here are a few pictures of her and her friends.

it has been fun to meet her friends and see them hang out together. it makes me reminise about my good ole junior high days at the same ole junior high. man i really don't miss that place.

bethany has truly been a sweet blessing in our lives and we will miss her when she moves away.
