old macdonald had a preschool

these are some pictures from our little preschool field trip to the farm down the road.
megan absolutely loves animals. we were trying to get ready to go after our lesson on farm animals. the girls ran outside when some of the moms came to help. when i got out there megan was showing her mom a bird she had found on the ground. i heard her mom say, "wow it looks so real." i started to freak out because it was real and it was really dead. after several handwashings and sanitizer, we were off to the farm.

elise loved the sheep but i think the sheep loved her more. i think they thought we were going to feed them because they would come right up to the fence.

addy and cecily loved posing for the camera. it was kind of chilly that day and somewhat sprinkling. it was definitely muddy and i just kept thinking please be careful not to fall.

natalie, kylie, megan, cecily, elise, and addy. they had a ball looking at the baby lambs and the very large geese. the farmer was out trimming his trees so he caught one of the babies and let the girls pet it.

everyone but natalie wanted to stay as long as possible. natalie really didn't want to go near the animals. i don't blame her it didn't smell very well.
