we had a great winter around here. we got tons of snow throughout the winter and here are a few shots of the family out playing in the snow.
lily and i came out to watch the fun and to take pictures. since i am usually the photographer of the family, i had to take one of her and i to document that we somewhat participated in the fun.
addy just wanted to keep eating the snow. honestly, i don't think there was a time that her or kasen was outside around the snow and didn't managed to lick something. they even pulled old snow off the car and ate it out of their hands a couple of times. man their bodies are so resilient at that age.
braylie has finally reached the age where she can dress herself and will stay outside to play for more than five minutes. (you know that great age where you spend 20 minutes trying to find all their winter gear, then just when you get them dressed, they have to go to the bathroom. then you spend another 30 minutes using the bathroom and redressing them. all this effort for 5 minutes of peace and quiet. cause then they come in crying and saying their cold, wet, and done. fun, fun, fun.)
sometimes i look at him and think "man he is so cute." then when i turn around i get hit right in the back of head with a snowball. he is just like his dad.
this is the finished product. his eyes and mouth were made from golf balls and golf tees.
