swimming and sickness

here are a few snapshots of our annual thanksgiving weekend to sherwood hills. we alway go up there the night of or the day after thanksgiving. we have a blast spending time with my family and the ropelato family. pretty much the kids live in the pool. what a great dad!!!!grandma and grandpa 2 gave them goggles last year and they had to bring them. i think they are mostly for looks cause i don't know how much they really go under the water with lifejackets on.
we do other things too like bowling and sometimes go to a movie. you wouldn't know that though cause all of my pictures were of the pool.
addy can you even see out of those? she use to hate the swimming pool. cried everytime i took her there.
we have so much fun playing with cousins and spending time with family. it is a great getaway we look forward to every year. in fact, the kids will say thanksgiving is one of their favorite holidays but it is not for the food, it's for this tradition.
you wouldn't know it but this child was soooo sick all weekend long. she runs a high, high fever (it has been up to almost 105 before) about every six to eight weeks. they are miserable. she happened to get one the night of thanksgiving and it ran all weekend long. just alternate pain meds every three hours for four to five days and she seems alright. this was one of those okay moments, you know the kind when you think "maybe she has kicked it now." unfortunately, it came back right after this picture was taken. not any fun.
i thought this would be a great picture to bring up the rear. :)

that is one of my favorite traditions too. I love the pictures. I'm wondering did I forget my camera? I don't have pictures other than our family ones. :)
